- Asia is a land of hopes where about 60% of the world’s population, 4.4 billion people, live. It is also the origin of human civilization that was enriched therein.
- Historically, humans have exchanged cultural experiences, values and goods through trade and migration. Individual movement that first began for individual growth and development has now become a significant determinant of today’s national and economic development in the globalized world where the exchange of labor and capital is aggressively facilitated.
- We, The Asia Development Foundation, pursue mutual growth and development of the Asian countries through the exchange and cooperation based on the mutual understanding and respect, and therefore, hope for a better future.
- We attempt to achieve the aims through the cultural, academic and talent exchange to bring prosperity and harmony in Asia, the support for the future talent and medical assistance for the vulnerable to bring trust and reconciliation, and the attention and the support for the multicultural societies enhancing the diversity of the world to hope for a better future and harmony of mankind.
- Our foundation’s exchange and sharing beyond the national and ethnic border accord with the values of Asia, since the balance and harmony of spiritual civilization is to secure the future of mankind, unlike the material-oriented values brought by the development of modern industrialization.
