Public Cultural Project

Korean Learning Contents

By distributing Korean lecture videos and courses to many Asia countries with their local language subtitles,
the ADF contributes to the spread of Korean culture and cultural exchange.

  •

This is a project that distributes Korean lecture videos to various Asian countries free of charge along with subtitles and textbooks.
We are distributing from simple and easy courses to advanced courses for high-level Korean learners by distributing them to various Asian countries that are curious about Korean but difficult to get opportunities to get Korean language education.

Korean Education Support

Through Korean and Taekwondo education support for Cia-Cia, the ethnic minorities of Indonesia,
the ADF expands private cultural exchanges and realizes Korean culture sharing.

  •

Cia-Cia, ethnic minorities who live in Baubau City, Buton Island, Indonesia, have been using Hangul as a notation since 2008. The Korea Ciacia Culture Exchange Association is carrying out cultural exchange activities between Cia-Cia and Korea through Hangeul, helping the Cia-Cia record, inherit, and develop traditions and cultures.

The ADF, in cooperation with the Korea Ciacia Culture Exchange Association, provides Korean and Taekwondo education at elementary, middle, high schools, and childcare centers in Buton Island, Indonesia, connecting the two countries.

ADF-WT Cares

The ADF cooperates with the World Taekwondo, an international organization responsible for the operation
of Taekwondo events in the Olympics and around the world, and we conduct ‘Taekwondo Cares’,
a humanitarian activity that provides Taekwondo education to the underprivileged.

  •

The World Taekwondo (WT), which oversees the world Olympic sport Taekwondo, began the Taekwondo Cares Program in 2016 to fulfill its "social responsibility" for human society as an International Sports Federation.
The Taekwondo Cares Program provides Taekwondo education free of charge to the underdeveloped out of 210 WT countries to awaken Korean language education, Olympic spirit, the importance of world peace, and dignity as a global citizen.
The Asia Development Foundation, along with cooperative organizations such as the WT, the GCS International KOREA Chapter, and the International Center for Korean Culture (ICKC), strives to promote the prosperity of Korean culture centered on Taekwondo and the Korean language, happiness, and world peace.
It also supports the ‘ADF-WT Taekwondo Program’ and delivers messages of dreams and hopes through Taekwondo to the socially disadvantaged in Asian countries.

Be a Friend of Asia

To properly promote Asian history and culture around the world in cooperation with Cyber–Diplomat Corps VANK,
we carry out cultural and public diplomatic activity ‘Be a Friend of Asia’.

  •

“Be a Friend of Asia” ‘Goodwill Ambassador for Asia’ Fostering Project

In partnership with VANK, a cyber diplomat delegation, we are fostering ‘Goodwill Ambassador for Asia’ to promote Asia in the world and open the future of Asia. Textbooks, world maps, and websites around the world emphasize the brilliant history and culture of America and Europe, but those of each Asian country are introduced in a distorted image.
The ‘Goodwill Ambassador for Asia’ is spreading Asian values around the world by producing and distributing online promotional materials and content to immediately promote Asia's brilliant history and culture and develop the pride of Asia.
Through the activities of the ‘Goodwill Ambassador for Asia’ introducing Korean history and culture to Asia and promoting the cultural history of Asian countries to the world, young Asians will share their dreams and friendships and create a better future for the global community.

DMZ-ADF Project

The ADF is striving to improve multicultural awareness for teenagers through a documentary education
supporting project in cooperation with the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival.

  •

The documentary is a field that can arouse social interest by inducing emotional participation while dealing more closely with reality.
The Asia Development Foundation is working with the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival to increase multicultural sensitivity in our society and promote social interest in multicultural values.
We are making efforts to create a society where various values are respected by operating the "DMZ Doc School," a media education to improve the youth's multicultural awareness and enhance their understanding of Asian culture.

United Asia! Back to Asia! We aim for talent cultivation and exchange expansion in Asian countries through a wide range of programs devised to promote mutual understanding and cooperation among countries.
